*NICE Workforce Management (WFM) Professional Services Engineer(REMOTE)*
Job Description: Professional Services Engineer is responsible for remote implementation and integration of the NICE platform. The PSE will work with the project team from the sales to services transition through the closure of the project. NICE WFM consultant Location: anywhere in US Exp: 6 years C2C rate: $35/hr max Expected start date: 15 Oct 2016 Job Summary: Install NICE WFM Linux and Windows server application software remotely or at customer sites. Implement and maintain interfaces and integrations between NICE WFM application and various ACDs; implement and configure imports and exports to and from the NICE WFM application; implement various optional NICE WFM features. Act as a resource for customers, distributors, and internal personnel on interfaces, imports, exports, and features. Act as technical resource for other NICE WFM tasks as needed. Scope & Responsibility: - Install NICE WFM Linux and Windows server application software remotely or at customer sites. This includes: - application load - loading of client software on PC desktops - testing network communication between server, client PCs, and ACDs - troubleshooting and resolving any problems encountered with the above items - Perform training for customers on NICE WFM server maintenance and PC client loading. - Perform application upgrades on NICE WFM servers. - Provide on-site and remote support for hardware and operating system problems. - Implement interfaces between NICE WFM application and various ACDs and multimedia platforms. - Implement and configure imports to NICE WFM and exports from the NICE WFM application. - Implement optional NICE WFM features. - Act as information resource for Project Managers, Client Managers, NICE partners, and customers for integration implementation questions. - Provide 2nd-level support for ACD interfaces and optional NICE WFM features. - Communicate status of implementation projects to NICE WFM Project Manager, Client Managers, management, and other parties in a timely fashion. - Technical resource for NICE WFM Implementation tasks, including server and operating system issues and network connectivity issues. - Compose and maintain documentation for internal use and for customers and distributors. Education - BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related technical degree preferred. - WFM certification preferred. - Unix experienced a plus. - CCNA and MCSE certifications preferred. - HP, Dell, VMWare and Citrix certifications are a plus Requirements Minimum no. of years of (total/specific) work experience : 3 years - This job may require travel, including occasional international travel. Up to 10% of time could be spent at customer sites. - This job requires night and weekend work. This is scheduled with as much advanced notice as possible. - At least one year’s experience working with UNIX systems is preferred for this position. - Previous experience with importing and exporting data. - Previous experience with scripting. - Good verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to interact and work with challenging customers and IT personnel on-site and remotely to facilitate installation and implementation activities. - High degree of organization and good time management. - Able to work and act with minimal supervision. - Some network administration experience preferred. - Some database administration experience preferred (PostgreSQL, Oracle, and/or Microsoft SQL) - Some experience installing software on PC desktops preferred. - Red Hat Enterprise Linux or Microsoft certification is a strong plus. - Previous experience with ACD/MIS platforms and interfaces is a strong plus. - At least one year’s experience working with NICE WFM is a strong plus. - Experience working in a call center environment is a strong plus.
