*Location: *2651 SATELLITE BOULEVARD DULUTH GA 30096 *Duration: 6 Months * *Client : NCR* *Must have POS retail Experience * POSTION SUMMARY & KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: NCR Hospitality software is a global point-of-sale and back-office solution for all types of restaurant concepts including quick service, table service, pizza delivery, buffet and cafeteria. The complete store-to-corporate restaurant software suite includes front-of-house, back-of-house, and above-store applications and tools to ensure customers to have innovative and efficient business operations. In this position the candidate will support mission critical Point of Sale (POS) systems and project delivery that directly impacts business success. The application area will span diverse technical domains, API design, building user interface or backend systems to work with large datasets interactively primarily using C++/C# in Microsoft Visual Studio (2005/2008/2010) development environment. • Responsible for conducting unit tests, tracking problems, and implementing changes to ensure adherence to test plans and functional requirements; Diagnosing, isolating, and implementing remedies for system failures caused by errors in software code, using knowledge of system characteristics and utilizing software based system maintenance and tracking tools • Construct software per requirements and design while maintaining adherence to source/build control procedures; Follow coding standards and the software development lifecycle defined by the organization; Document program code according to specifications; Conduct software code inspections and reviews; Perform software configuration management per specifications • Ensure the software is appropriately covered by unit testing; Track and control defect and customization changes; Understand the value and process of software quality assurance and test automation; Diagnose, isolate, and implement remedies for system failures caused by errors in software code, using knowledge of system characteristics and utilizing software based system maintenance and tracking tools • Work with customers, Product Managers, Project Managers, Services and Support departments to understand business requirements • Provide expertise on the system's capabilities and limitations as it relates to business processes • Lead and participate in design collaboration with Programmers, Quality Assurance and Documentation throughout software development lifecycle to ensure enhancements work as designed • Build upon and embrace current development standards and contribute to the evolution of the design process • Identifies differences between established standards and user applications and suggests modifications to conform to standards BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Computer Engineering • 4+ years of experience required in C++ • 4+ years of experience with Microsoft development platform: SQL Server, Visual Studio • 4+ years of experience with one or more programming languages like C, C#, XML, COM, etc. • 2+ years of experience with SQL query, design of database table, view, stored procedure, function, and trigger • Strong analytic skill • Must have strong oral and written communications skills • Ability to work effectively in team structure PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Proficient with object-oriented analysis and design • Proficient with C, C++, COM knowledge • Proficiency in using Microsoft .Net platform, WCF and Windows Forms • Skillful in web-based development using IIS and ASP.net • Relevant or related development experience in WebService or web application • Knowledge of hospitality industry,quick service or table service, solution or environment a plus Thanks and Regards, Anand V Computech Corporation 100 W Kirby St Detroit, MI-48202 Phone: ( 313) 202-0929 Ext 51168 Email: anand.v...@computechcorp.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "International SAP Projects" group.
