*Job Title* RPG Sr Programmer Analyst *Project Location* Northampton County PA *Duration* 2 months /Contract * Skills Required and Job Description:* *Moi =Telephonic + Skype* *No H1B and No OPT* * Responsibilities:* 1. Perform complex system design and program development activities required to complete projects as approved by management. 2. Serve as primary liaison with key users in specific functional areas of the business. 3. Serves as a technical advisor to other members of the organization on projects as needed. 4. Responsible for installing and building the technical environment and all interfaces between BPCS ERP and external applications such as Cashbook. 5. Leads projects that support the Order Processing technical areas and assists on other projects as defined by the ERP Manager. 6. Provide project and technical guidance to other members of IT or consultants assigned to work on a specific project or functional area. 7. Complete projects as assigned by ERP Manager. 8. Develops and executes detailed project plans. 9. Develop systems documentation in accordance with current IT Standards for new applications and update older system documentation as system updates are performed. 10. Develops system controls and ensures that backup and security are in place for systems. 11. Assists Operations with the development of a disaster recovery plan and supports Operations in the execution of the plan as needed. 12. Evaluate alternative solutions and selects the appropriate solution that meets the business requirements of a project while providing the greatest benefit. 13. Decides when to escalate project and operational issues to ERP Manager in a timely manner and provides alternatives to resolve the issue. 14. Decides on level of system controls appropriate for an application to ensure the integrity of the system and its data. *Qualifications: *(education, experience, personal attributes) 1. Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience in Systems & Programming with specialization in the following areas: RPG/400,CLP, SQL, Query/400,SDA, SEU, PDM, DDS, ILE Concepts 2. Working Knowledge of IBM I-Series architecture (hardware & software). 3. Minimum of 2-3 years customer facing, leading meetings and gathering requirements. 4. Ability to research and resolve issues independently in response to Help Tickets. 5. Experience responding to support calls in a highly visible environment. 6. Prior experience in design of complex systems. 7. Prior experience as project leader on programming development project team. 8. Four years college or equivalent experience. 9. Experience in developing and implementing database and distributive processing applications. 10. Good verbal and written communications skills. 11. Sound understanding of standard business processes.
