I prefer a candidate who has decent exposure to Hive and MapReduce already
and is also decent with java and build-release/config management/operations
side of things could be okay.

Profile requirements are that we need a candidate who has a decent java
exposure and can go well into Hive source code and accommodate any needful
changes. We use open source Apache Hive with some custom changes, so it is
very important for us to have a candidate to be comfortable handling the
hive patches or code changes as appropriate.
