Develops report specifications of data requirements and provide analysis. Supports the team in the preparation and submission of financial and progress reports as required. Creates and prepares documentation, reporting and metrics. Supports in gathering, defining, documenting and clarifying business requirements. Works cross-functionally on development and implementation of projects and ensures the success of projects/programs. Typically requires 5-7 years of experience. Experienced level. Requires a strong understanding of discipline. Able to apply knowledge and experience to complex problems and develop recommendations. Makes decisions within broad parameters. Acts as an informal resource for others with less experience. *Responsibilities:* •Maintenance and Configuration of IBM Tivoli Network Manager •Configure and maintain Discoveries •Create new Devices and manage MIBS •Work with Object Server and Impact policies to integrate ITNM monitoring •Help with planning proper sizing and architecture for the Netcool Environment •Assist in the configuration of probes and various other Netcool products. *Skills required:* •Basic Linux skills •Bash Scripting •DB2 query skills •IPL and Java scripting •Advanced understanding of SNMP •Must be able to perform all aspects of Netcool/Omnibus administration including object servers, WebGUI, probes, and desktop clients. *Preferred skills:* •Advanced Linux Skills •Advanced Bash, KSH, CSH, and Perl scripting •Advanced DB2, MySQL Configuration and query skills •Advanced Networking skills including SNMP development. •Ability to create Dash/Jazz/TCR reports and Dashboards •In depth understanding and ability to manage and create cognos reports. •Knowledge of the JDBC gateways and writing alarm history to Oracle databases with various formats and modes (Audit and Reporter mode) •Must know Object Server SQL and know how to write/debug/administer triggers and automations •Have experience with parsing and interpret XML.
