Dear responsible, In your barometer of European Languages that everybody can check at:
http://europa.eu.int/comm/education/languages.html You happen to ignore the 6th language of Europe, the catalan, talked by 10.800.000 people, slightly more than Portuguese and Hollish. I hope you don't reply me talking about the oficiality of the language. The Language is official in most of the territory where it is talked, and the only reason why it is not official in Europe is because spaniards hate our language as they see it like a dangerous enemy to their Castellian (what you call spanish). But Catalan is a native European tongle that survived during 50 years of dictatorial regimes this last century. Regimes that created specific poltics to make Catalan dissapear. People went to prison because they talked their language, and children were beaten by their so called teachers. And the language survived. Survived to the point that is the main teaching language and it is used in schools, Universities, Television, Politics and Business. And that's when half of the population of the counties it is talked in had to learn it from scratch, as they came from castellian spoken places. So I'm sure you'll understand this language MUST be represented in the next report you do.
