jo no hi tenia fé, però vaig llegir això (resposta d'un fòrum i un altre
lloc que no recordo. Sento no passar URLs...):

If you have an IntelliMouse (the mouse with the wheel in the
middle)Windows 98 enables you to scroll up and down within a list or
window by rotating the wheel forward and back. The default number of
lines scrolled is three with each discrete movement of the wheel. To
change the default setting, navigate the key string using the Registry
Editor:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Control Panel/desktop
Create a new string value called WheelScrollLines and set it to the
number of lines you want to scroll. You need to restart Windows 98 to
enable this effect.

i sí. El valor no és el número de línies (potser de línies de píxel??)
sinó que un valor de 120 és coherent.
Curiosament aqui casa tenim un portàtil amb una configuració semblant a
aquesta (Windws, ratolí PS/2, rodeta) i no hi ha aquesta entrada...
