It seems the European market is much more vibrant. Could this have anything to do with the fact that the Brits and others embraced DAB as opposed to what the industry did here in the U.S. with Ibiquity?
DAB in the UK has been a tad iffy, John. A number of carriers/providers lost their shirts on it whilst others did okay.
What you'll probably find helping DAB is the mandated shutoff of analog radio in the UK in a few years time. I'm waiting for our duly elected thieves and cretins over here to get a similarly well-bribed idea in order to help IBOC survive in the US.
