Odd start time-- 5 p.m. on a Monday on CBC Radio One. I assume they mean Eastern time and that it will run when it's 5 in each of the time zones, so no live broadcast of the tribute. Also odd that Quebec and Newfoundland listeners won't have it on their affiliates.
Just a weird approach all around. (And as an aside: Too bad all the cost-cutting and policy and management shifts over the past decade or more at the CBC haven't succeeded in producing a broadcaster that even comes close to approximating the talent and depth of Peter Gzowski.) ---- Richard Cuff <[email protected]> wrote: > FYI...I know of a few Peter Gzowski fans here... > > RC > > > ---------- Forwarded message ---------- > From: Radio One <[email protected]> > Date: Thu, Jul 29, 2010 at 2:48 PM > Subject: Week of July 31st: Peter Gzowski Tribute > To: [email protected] > > > Hi Richard!
