I agree, Rich. It's pretty much a slightly modified Reciva based radio sold at a small price premium. The password issue strikes me as a bit of a whine. Yes, it's harder to do than making a call on your iPhone but it's not rocket science and it should be a one-time task.
The price premium over a good AM/FM radio is not that large, even if with the "NPR" add-on. Easy enough though to buy an equivalent and cheaper product at other outlets. -- -Rob de Santos -----Original Message----- From: Richard Cuff [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Tuesday, February 08, 2011 1:34 PM To: Internet radio discussion; ODXA Subject: [Internetradio] The NPR Radio by Livio Review & Rating | PCMag.com This review in general would apply to many similarly-designed Reciva-based Internet radios. A reasonable review...though I don't know of Internet radios bereft of the "combination lock" approach to entering wifi passwords etc. Richard Cuff / Allentown, PA http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2378995,00.asp _______________________________________________ Internetradio mailing list [email protected] http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/internetradio To unsubscribe: Send an E-mail to [email protected]?subject=unsubscribe, or visit the URL shown above.
