Canada Writes is looking for the best original and unpublished short story you’ve got. The story must be 1,200 and 1,600 words and any Canadian is eligible to submit any number of stories they like, as long as they have not been previously published. Get out your computer, note pad or even typewriter to compete for a chance to win outstanding prizes! The winner will receive $6,000 (courtesy of the Canada Council of the Arts), publications in Air Canada’s enRoute magazine and on the Canada Writes website and finally, an interview with Shelagh Rodgers for The Next Chapter. Four runners-up will be awarded $1,000 each (provided by the Canada Council of the Arts) and have their story published on the Canada Writes website. Don't miss your chance!
