I'm a big fan of Dar.fm and its sister service MP3tunes.com and remain a regular
user and subscriber. Unfortunately, the recording industry has waged legal war
on MP3tunes and it filed bankruptcy recently. This didn't happen because Michael
Robertson and his companies lost any legal decisions but rather that they have
driven the legal costs of the defense to sky-high levels. As of now, the
servers continue to operate and there hasn't been any interruption of service
that I have noticed over the past two months.

Subject: [Internetradio] DAR.fm experiences?

I was just cleaning up my podcast library, and I noticed a segment from David
Pogue that I had saved to look at again someday. Well, more than a year later, I
watched it again and now I'm wondering if anyone has any feedback of this radio
show recording service he featured called DAR.fm (Digital Audio Recorder).

If you would like to watch, the rather humorous, video, the link is embedded on
the left under Multimedia entitled "A Cure for the Radio Industry?"

Unfortunately, the "Readers' Comments" link no longer works to peruse the 34
comments.

Also, it looks like the DAR.fm "Airband" iOS app is no longer available, but
there appears to be other listening options available to fill that gap.
