The antenna as well as the digital tuner are remote.  The simulated DVR and any
necessary transcoding are done on their servers.

I wonder...they are calling it a remote antenna, but are they decoding the
signal remotely as well?

If so, it's no different than a remotely-tunable SDR, it would seem.
