These items come from "Hot Pod", a weekly podcasting newsletter from
the Nieman Lab at MIT.

The Nieman Journalism Lab is out of Harvard University, and has a very
interesting website and a daily media-related e-newsletter one can
subscribe to.

Here are two items relating to the BBC that will affect the services
that we, from the heritage of shortwave listening, can appreciate:

1) "What should a public broadcaster be in the digital age? The BBC
is asking, and being asked, that question"

2) "Big shifts at the BBC", embedded in this article:

Well worth your time.
