If you poke around their help site for info on Wifi radios their approach pretty much is "contact the manufacturer if you can't connect to the stream." In other words, not much help.
I know TuneIn has some premium tiers - maybe one of those will be required to access the music streams. I did note that roughly two weeks ago the direct URL for the MPEG-DASH live BBCWS stream (which has an .mpd extension) changed unannounced, but I was able to suss it out. Interestingly (to me anyway) when I checked the live WS offering on the new "BBC Audio" website (https://www.bbc.com/audio/stations) what was offered by was a "News Internet" steam with the MPEG-DASH URL of https://a.files.bbci.co.uk/ms6/live/3441A116-B12E-4D2F-ACA8-C1984642FA4B/audio/simulcast/dash/nonuk/pc_hd_abr_v2/aksgc/bbc_world_service_news_internet.mpd .. This stream isn't as comprehensive as the default "Online UK" stream - and is missing programs like Sportsworld. The stream URL for Radio 4 did not change at the time I noticed the URL change for the World Service. I just compared the URLs side-by-side for the Radio 4 stream on the BBC Sounds website with the stream on the new BBC Audio website - they were nearly identical but juuuust a tad different. However - at first glance the version of Radio 4 shown on this new website omits mainstays such as "Broadcasting House" and "The Archers". Hopefully this new website will improve but right now there is no way to do a freeform search, and it appears no way to save programs that aren't offered as podcasts. The announcement of the changes mentions that, for those of us outside the UK, our settings for subscribed programming in the "BBC Sounds" website & app will no longer be available. I've reached out to the "Over To You" listener feedback program. Richard Cuff Allentown, PA USA On Thu, Mar 13, 2025 at 2:47 PM John A.
