Call for Papers

"Chinua Achebe"
Philosophia Africana
Special Issue

The journal Philosophia Africana seeks papers for its
special issue on Chinua Achebe. We want papers that address
the significance of various aspects of Achebe's work in
relation to problems in philosophy. An appropriate topic may
address, for example, an issue or issues in any of these
areas: existentialism, ethics, social or political theory,
aesthetics, theories of gender, colonial or postcolonial
identity, morality of international relations, conceptions
of time or history, nature of language, grounds for
religious belief, epistemology of cross-cultural
translation, and so on.

Completed papers are due on or before 15 July 2005. Maximum
length of each submission: 7000 words.
