Call for Papers "Toward Social Justice: Illusions, Realities, Possibilities" 18th Biennial Conference Canadian Ethnic Studies Association Ottawa, Ont. (Canada) October 13-16, 2005
Conference organizers welcome proposals for papers, sessions/ panels/ presentations that address the topics of ethnicity, immigration, diversity, and multiculturalism in Canada, particularly in relation to social justice. Organizers welcome submissions from a variety of perspectives, academic disciplines, and areas of study, including the humanities and the arts, as well as the social sciences. Abstracts should be approximately 250 words. Individual conference presentations will normally be 20 minutes in length, and conference sessions will be 90 minutes. Graduate students are encouraged to make submissions. The deadline for submission is March 31, 2005.
