"The Role of Education in Forming Ethnic and Civil Identity"

The aim of the Conference:
Interdisciplinary scientific expertise of education role and
functions in forming ethnic and civil identity and in
attainment of their unity as a condition of sustainable
development of civil society and preservation of cultural
traditions of the peoples of Russia.

Topics of the Conference:
• the UNESCO Program “Education for all” and its role in
  solving problem of ethnic and civil identity
• forming of identity: international experience
• national peculiarities in the concept of All-European
  education area
• globalization in sphere of culture and education and
  identity crisis
• phenomenology of identity
• identity as a personal characteristic

• legal aspects of ethnic and civil identity

  practice of inter-ethnic communication

To take part in the Conference you should send to the
conference committee:
1. The title and the text of your paper (ready to be
published) - printed and on a diskette (Word for Windows,
interval 1, print 12, frameworks 2 5). The volume is 3
pages. Footnotes and comments must be at the end of text,
list of books used will not be published. (by mail);
2. Information about the author: full name, academic degree,
position and place of employment, address, e-mail (by mail).

Deadline for submission: 31 January 2006

The fee for the foreigners is $150 (150 US-dollars).
