To commemorate Alexis de Tocqueville's bicentennial, K.U.Brussel, UA, and UCSIA jointly organize an international conference on the work of Tocqueville. This two-day conference will take place in Antwerp, Belgium, on 8 and 9 December 2005. Speakers include Cheryl Welch, Jennifer Pitts, Serge Audier, Ringo Ossewaarde, Jean-Louis-Benoît, Agnès Antoine, Paul Cliteur, and Larry Siedentop.
