Call for Papers "Rethinking the Ethics of Armed Interventions" Annual Conference Ethics Society of South Africa St Augustine College Johannesburg (South Africa) 24-25 September 2007 __________________________________________________ Although presentations on any topic on ethics are welcome, the conference will include a focused stream addressing the following topic: 'RETHINKING THE ETHICS OF ARMED INTERVENTION' Presentations of three kinds will be considered for inclusion in the conference programme: 1. Papers of between 5000 and 6000 words; 2. Panels on a single topic, involving either three or four different panelists; 3. Poster/display presentations. In all three cases a title and abstract/description of around 200 words must be e-mailed to Deane Baker ([email protected]) by the 30th June 2007, for consideration by the conference committee.
