Job Announcement Chair of Human Rights Studies Faculty of Humanities and Theology, Lund University Lund (Sweden) __________________________________________________ The post is tenable from: January 1, 2008 Qualifications: to be qualified for the post of professor, candidates shall have demonstrated a high level of both academic and pedagogical merit. Assessment will be based on the degree of academic, pedagogical, administrative and other qualities that are deemed of importance for the position. In addition, consideration will be taken of managerial skills such as developing, leading, executing and evaluating education and research, and also of an ability to cooperate with the community and to inform about the research, education and development being carried out by the department. In choosing the appropriate candidate emphasis will be placed on academic and pedagogical merit equally. The university has a policy of individually negotiated salaries and applicants may include their salary expectations in the application.
