Call for Papers "Alternative Expressions of the Numinous" 3rd Annual Conference School of History, Philosophy, Religion and Classics, University of Queensland St Lucia, Qld (Australia) 15-17 August 2008 __________________________________________________ The conference explores themes related, but not limited to, the following: - Esotericism - Mysticism - Alternative expressions of major religions - Religions of re-enchantment - Popular culture religions - Indigenous religions - Paganism and Neo-Paganism - New Religious Movements - Personalised religion - Alternative methodologies Paper proposals: Papers will be 20 minutes long with 10 minutes for questions or comments.
