Call for Papers "Comparative and Continental Philosophy" 5th Annual Meeting Comparative and Continental Philosophy Circle (CCPC) Tokai University Honolulu, HI (USA) 8-11 April 2010 __________________________________________________ The 5th annual meeting of the Comparative and Continental Philosophy Circle (CCPC) will be at the Tokai University Pacific Center in Honolulu this April 8 to 11, 2010. The CCPC has been meeting nationally since 2006 and regionally since 1995. Please join us in our 16th year of conversations on Comparative and Continental philosophy. We are an open, congenial, and discussion-driven philosophy Circle that meets internationally every spring. We invite papers/ presentations on any aspect of Comparative philosophy, Continental philosophy, and/or bridges between them. Plenary Speakers: John Sallis, Boston College Roger Ames, University of Hawaii Special Guest: Mine Hideki, Kwansei Gakuin University There will also be a special session devoted to John Sallis' new book, Transfigurements: On the True Sense of Art, and a special session will be dedicated to a presentation by Mine Hideki.
