"Justice and Territory: Immigration, Self-Determination, and Resource
Rights"
3rd International Conference
Territory and Justice Network
Dublin (Ireland)
12-13 July 2010

__________________________________________________

The Territory and Justice network will hold its third conference on
July 12-13, 2010, in Dublin.

The theme of the conference is Justice and Territory: Immigration,
Self-Determination, and Resource Rights. A panel will be dedicated to
each of the sub-themes: immigration, self-determination, and resource
rights. Other panels will be open–determined by the topics of the
paper presented.

The aim of the conference is to explore conceptual issues (for
example: What are territorial rights?) - as well as wider questions
within political theory, especially questions within the global
justice debate (for example: Is immigration policy a matter of global
distributive justice?).

We invite abstract submissions for paper presentations on topics
related to territory, global justice, immigration, collective
self-determination, resource rights, or other related areas of
theoretical inquiry.

Confirmed speakers include:

Chaim Gans (Law, Tel Aviv, Israel)
Avery Kolers (Philosophy, University of Louisville, Kentucky, USA)
Margaret Moore (Political Theory, Queens University, Ontario, Canada)
Hillel Steiner (Political Philosophy, Manchester University, UK)

Abstracts are due to <[email protected]> by March 1, 2010.
