Call for Papers Theme: Canadian Political Philosophy and Multiculturalism Type: Graduate Student Conference Institution: Ryerson University Location: Toronto, ON (Canada) Date: 20.–21.1.2012 Deadline: 21.10.2011 __________________________________________________ The Philosophy Graduate Students’ Association at Ryerson University is pleased to invite abstracts of 300 words or less for their upcoming graduate student conference focusing on the philosophical problems associated with multiculturalism. We encourage papers on topics such as personal identity and culture, multicultural education, political accommodation for minority cultures, or other related topics. The keynote will be Dr. John Russon from the University of Guelph. Graduate student papers will be presented in 1-hour sessions from January 20th to January 21st, 2012. Abstracts should be prepared for blind review and sent before 12:00pm on Friday, October 21st, 2011 to [email protected] with “Conference Abstract” as the subject, and the body of the e-mail containing your institutional affiliation and contact information. Those whose abstracts are accepted will be notified by mid-November and a draft of full papers of no more than 3000 words will be required before January 10th, 2012.
