Since the foundation principles of thinking and acting are crucial to
both world-traditions, the scheduled conference takes the different
approaches within Chinese and German philosophy as a starting point
for the opening of a common horizon. Thus we do not only ask for the
genesis of the respective traditions, but furthermore we will try to
evaluate its validity and function for a shared future.
