Call for Papers Theme: Rights to a Green Future Type: International Conference Institution: ESF Research Networking Programme 'Rights to a Green Future' Utrecht University Location: Soesterberg (Netherlands) Date: 28.–31.10.2014 Deadline: 31.5.2014 __________________________________________________ This final conference of the interdisciplinary ESF Research Networking Programme ‘Rights to a Green Future’ will be hosted by Utrecht University from 28-31 October in Kontakt der Kontinenten, Soesterberg, NL The conference will be structured around the network’s themes: - Intergenerational Human Rights - Representation of Future Generations - Risks and Rights - Pathways to a Sustainable Future - Sustainability and Developing Countries We would welcome researchers and scholars working on these themes to submit abstracts for a presentation in one of the parallel sessions. Submission deadline is May 31, maximum word count is 500 words (including references). Please attach an anonymized abstract as a separate document to an email addressed to <[email protected]>, containing your relevant contact details. The abstracts will be submitted to blind review, the results of which will be communicated June 31. Registration opens May 1st: please fill in the registration form found on the website: www.greenrights.nl There is budget available for early stage researchers to cover travel expenses up to 250 euros. In case you would like to apply, please indicate the amount of travel costs you expect to make. We do not guarantee full compensation. Registration closes September 15, but please note that in order to be eligible for compensation, your registration via the website should be no later than August 1. The conference fee is 250 euros, and please note that in order to be eligible for travel compensation, the fee needs to have been transferred no later than August 5 (bank details found with the registration form on the website).
