Call for Papers Theme: Asian Perspectives on Mind, Action and Cultivation Type: ASACP Conference 2015 Institution: Australasian Society for Asian and Comparative Philosophy (ASACP) Monash University Location: Melbourne, VIC (Australia) Date: 10.–12.7.2015 Deadline: 1.12.2014 __________________________________________________ The conference committee invites proposals for papers, especially in relation to the main conference themes of mind and consciousness, action and cultivation, or the special area of Comparative Philosophy: Methodology, Prospects and Problems. This conference will also feature the inaugural Max Charlesworth Memorial Lecture. Panels Panel 1: Mind and Consciousness in Indian Philosophy Panel 2: Mind and Consciousness in East Asian Philosophy Panel 3: Action in Indian Philosophy Panel 4: Action in East Asian Philosophy Panel 5: Cultivation in Indian Philosophy Panel 6: Cultivation in East Asian Philosophy Comparative Philosophy: Methodology, Prospects and Problems Panel 1: Indian and East Asian Philosophy Panel 2: Asian and Western Philosophy Panel 3: Ancient and Contemporary Philosophy All papers will be allocated 45 minutes (25-30 minutes presentation, 15-20 minutes discussion).
