Call for Papers Theme: Colony and Resistance Type: 8th Annual Meeting Institution: Pacific Association for the Continental Tradition (PACT) University of Hawai'i at Hilo Location: Hilo, HI (USA) Date: 15.–18.9.2016 Deadline: 1.3.2016 __________________________________________________ The aim of the Pacific Association for the Continental Tradition (PACT) is to provide a platform for philosophical dialogue on the West Coast. The annual conference alternates between Seattle University, University of San Francisco, Loyola-Marymount University, and the University of Hawai`i at Hilo. PACT takes "Continental Philosophy" in its broadest sense, and everyone with an interest in continental thinking is invited to send in a submission and to participate. Abstracts of 500 words (or complete papers) addressing the topic of "Colony & Resistance" can be submitted through email to Chris Lauer ([email protected]). The deadline for submissions is March 1, 2016.
