Call for Applications Type: PhD Studentships in Global Philosophy of Religion Institution: Programme of Philosophy and Religious Studies, University of Macau Location: Macau (China) Date: 2017/2018 Deadline: 3.3.2017 __________________________________________________ The Programme of Philosophy and Religious Studies in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the University of Macau invites applicants for two PhD studentships in Global Philosophy of Religion. Applications are encouraged from suitably qualified candidates with philosophical interest within the following general areas: philosophical responses to religious diversity; the epistemological challenges of global philosophy of religion; the metaphysics of global philosophy of religion; conceptions of the Ultimate within global philosophy of religion. Applicants whose interests embrace both Western and Asian traditions are especially encouraged to apply. The PhD programme consists of one to two years of full-time coursework, followed by a year or more of full-time, independent research. The language of tuition is English.
