This phenomenon which has different economic, social, cultural and political forms, transforms all epistemological, anthropological, ontological and methodological bases of human sciences and changes the scope, function and content of scientific disciplines. In this way, it is necessary for all sciences to describe and identify their relation with the changes caused by globalization and in social sciences and humanities this necessity becomes more important as this science has strong relevance to management of human affairs, adjustment of social relations and studying structures and institutions of the society. While in recent years the movement of localization of humanities was considered, paying attention to the interaction between social sciences and the phenomenon of globalization will be necessary. Holding a series of professional sessions will cause thinkers in social sciences and humanities, along with sharing their intellectual approaches and perspectives, actively equip the Iranian social sciences capacities for confronting with the effects of globalization.
