Call for Papers Theme: Borders Subtitle: Aesthetics Perspectives Type: Annual Geo-Aesthetics Conference Institution: Towson University Location: Towson, MD (USA) Date: 17.–18.3.2023 Deadline: 15.1.2023 __________________________________________________ The Conference seeks to generate and share critical perspectives and responses to the elemental questions of borders. Borders are ubiquitous and so are their contestations. How are they perceived and how are they experienced? Do we need borders? What is the place of aeasthetics in the theater of borders? Possible topics include: arts and crafts borders; animal and human borders; human and nature borders; wild and domestic borders; virtual and real borders; borders; gender borders; sane and insane borders; secular and religious borders; obscene and non-obscene borders; cultural borders, societal borders, I and others borders, etc. Abstracts are invited from any academic discipline and from non-academicians. Submissions form performing and non-performing artists, artisans, philosophers, poets,writers, and applied aestheticians are welcome.
