Job Announcement Theme: History of Philosophy Subtitle: Medieval Philosophy Type: Lecturer or Senior Lecturer Institution: Department of Philosophy, King's College London, University of London Location: London (United Kingdom) Date: from September 2022 Deadline: 1.5.2022 __________________________________________________ The Philosophy Department at King’s College London is seeking to appoint a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in the History of Philosophy, with expertise in Medieval Philosophy from late antiquity to early modern, in any of the Christian, Jewish or Islamic traditions. The successful candidate will be expected to lead their own independent programme of advanced research in Medieval Philosophy and related areas, and to have, or demonstrate the potential for, an outstanding portfolio of research and publications. Research expertise and/or teaching competence in areas that will help widen or consolidate our curriculum are desirable, for example, in Chinese or Indian philosophy. This post will be offered on a full-time, indefinite contract. Start date: 1st September 2022, or as soon as possible thereafter.
