I wonder if anyone could help me. I've just downloaded & installed the free version of Cache 31 PC. Apart from it being a very slow and tedious installation process (It took about 2 retries and 3 hours, running on ISDN!), Cache is now running OK (so it seems).
The installation process completely screwed up the existing OpenM configuration and removed most software (like the Open M Desktop package which was installed with OpenM). I'll probably survive without the OpenM database, but I used the Open M Desktop tool to connect to a DSM7.1 database (running on an Alpha with VMS). I tried to connect to DSM with the Studio product, but that doesn't seem to work. The update (CStudioUpd.exe), says "couldn't start Visual M server process: Visual M server and client version mismatch.". What am I doing wrong?
