Hi,
I've just downloaded the free copy of Cache 3.1 and trying to pass through
tutorial. In the "Using SQL" section I have to create File DSN in order to
use it with MS Query. I cannot do it?? and do not understand the reason.
1. I've created User DSN 'cache_user' with parameters
Host/IP address: 127.0.0.1
Port: 1972
Cache Namespace: USER
User ID: _SYSTEM, Password: SYS
2. I add File DSN (InterSystems Cache ODBC v3.1) named 'cache_user' and in
the dialog box 'InterSystems Cache ODBC v3.1 Connect' I print 'cache_user'
and get the message "The file Datasource was not saved".
3. When I try to add File DSN from MS Query I get an Error message with
native code 10054.
Probably I'm doing smth wrong.
I'm using MS Windows 98, MS Office 97.
