V3.2 comes with a new SQL Manager (csql.exe in the \bin subdirectory of the Caché installation. It's not in the cube menu) where you can easily set up other users. In versions prior to that you have to write a routine with embedded sql to create users.

Dear Intersystems Representative:I recently purchased a single user version of Cache for Windows NT
4.0. I am having
problems with setting up the DNS. The connection test fails with the
user/password.
I have tried to set up an ordinary user and a Direct Connect user and
use those in the ODBC username and password fields, but neither of
those solutions worked. The user/password is never reconciled by the
system. It seems as though the system puts in its own password.
I did enter my license information into the system. Would the
password be there?I need ODBC connectivity to generate reports for my application. I
cannot demonstrate the value of Cache to my client without a
demonstration.I appreciate any help you can give me with this.
