What is the Cache 5.0 version exactly? 5.0.2 contains LRS675 "Fix mag tape backup performance under NT" and it supposed to make backup even faster then it used to be in 3.x/4.0.
But please be warned "This change means that a new version will not be able to read backups generated on the same system and drive with a version prior to the fix."
