Ah - I'm still stuck with Eclipse 2.1.3. I did download 3M8 for my degree project but I haven't moved the rest of my projects/development environment yet, I'm waiting for 3.0 final. Sorry for not being able to help here :( > the whole thing is quite complex - and im quite impressed how much things > are made easy compared to having a usual sql db - one last thing: what would > the best way be to migrate data from mysql to cache ? - i know that cache > has a import utility but then the tables would be seperate as they are now > (and i need them to be subclasses of one main class... so they can be easy > queried) This is a good point. The site Nuno pointed you to, which gave you the license error - the error should be transient. That is the newsgroup archive, kindly put together by Peter Cooper. You can try searching it for MySQL->Cach migration tips, but as you say simply migrating the existing relational structure is suboptimal. I'd suggest analysing the existing structure and looking for ways to optimise it into a better object structure. Simple, "classic" things to look for are: - Inheritance - Code tables - Many-to-many relationships These are all common things that can be done much better in Cach but require carefully refactoring your database. If you have specific questions or would like comment on specific issues, by all means post about it! :) HTH, Ramn
