Ah - I'm still stuck with Eclipse 2.1.3. I did download 3M8 for my degree
project but I haven't moved the rest of my projects/development environment
yet, I'm waiting for 3.0 final. Sorry for not being able to help here :(

This is a good point. The site Nuno pointed you to, which gave you the
license error - the error should be transient. That is the newsgroup
archive, kindly put together by Peter Cooper. You can try searching it for
MySQL->Cach� migration tips, but as you say simply migrating the existing
relational structure is suboptimal. I'd suggest analysing the existing
structure and looking for ways to optimise it into a better object
structure. Simple, "classic" things to look for are:

 - Inheritance
 - Code tables
 - Many-to-many relationships

These are all common things that can be done much better in Cach� but
require carefully refactoring your database.
