Let me try this again
OK I am looking at the 'tables' in the SQL Manager - remotely......what
table would list the following:
1) Namespaces
2)Once in a Namespace where would i find a listing of Databases
3)Once in a Database where would I find
a)Tables
b)Views
c) etc
If I go to SQL Server, Oracle even Access for that matter there are system
tables that define this (I might have to figure out Object type of
1=database.....or Object type 2=table etc) but so far I am not seeing this
in any of the suggestions.....which I appreciate...just not there - though I
have learned a bit more about the system tables in dictionary.
As a note i have looked through al lthe data in all of the system tables - I
do not see anyway to start out my search at least for Namespaces. I note
that there are no system tables shown for databases (at least in the SQL
manager. Any thoughts. I am using ActiveX as a connect method so I do not
need to go through ODBC i can instantiate Objects or go via sql - just need
a pointer or two as to where to start.
