its an interesting method, but when I worked with modems ( ah the good old days . . . ), I used to get as annoyed as hell when the modem kept trying o connect to fetch that annoying pixel. I prefer to see the real thing, without having to re-connect, but its preference. anyway. I'm getting closer, I'll keep you posted. as a side note, - can anyone answer my other posting regarding emails. kev
