I too am getting the following error:
" CTELNETD startup error, bind (sock) failed, Reason: WSAENOTSOCK"

I am using McAfee Personal Firewall Plus v.5  and McAfee Virus Scan v.8 even
though

I need the firewall and Virus Scan so deleting the dll described below is
not an option.
I have also verified service is set up with Local System account and desktop
interaction as described below.
What else can I do?
