I've enjoyed (and benefited) a lot from reading your post on comp.databases. I'm a bit interested on the statement you made:

Particularly COS is a fully fledged and very flexible programming
language that goes way way  beyond what you can do with your typical
RDBMS stored procedure languages like Transact Sql.

Can you be a bit more specific? I need some of those arguments to present to other people. Thanks.
