does it work from a Telnet session rather than a TRM? TRM sessions you have the privs that you have logged on to the server with Telnet/CSP sessions have the Cache Privs - set in Config Manager | Advanced | IO - Network user name/password Peter PS it's always good to always check the returned status code - many people have fallen over not doing this
