Hello, We are an IDX show and we recently did some archiving of data from a large global. We use to run GCOMPAC on the global to regain space as many entries are killed from the global after archiving. We recently went to Cache 5.0.3 and when we try to run GCOMPAC or Compact on the cube, we get a message saying we don't have enough global buffers.
We asked IDX system support about this and they are telling us we don't need to run GCOMPAC and that Intersystems indicates that running it is unnecessary. Is this true? thanks Chuck Marshall [EMAIL PROTECTED]
