Thanks George, this could be an option, provided the user could then elect
to save the spreadsheet as a normal xls file. Could you point me in the
right direction - I'm not sure how to use HTML to get IE to start Excel, or
how I would e.g. turn on Autofilter, change colors, bold rows etc.
