Try to remove username and password from SQLGateway configuration because you already have it in cacheodbc.ini.
Just a guess !
I used these drivers to oracle having just the problem of configure everything out of cacheodbc.ini. After configuring ODBC in cacheodbc.ini everything worked fine.
Check also about "LIBPATH", I think it's called in Aix can't remember, but LD_LIBRARY_PATH for common unix systems.

Yaron,
2 Ways: 1 - Look at http://www.xiscsp.co.uk/ngp/ 2 - Lookk at http://www.mgateway.com/utility.htm
I posted there the How-To. The second one is more direct.
If you still have problems, let me know.

I have installed easysoft ODBC driver for oracle on this Aix machine. There is a utility that allows you to check all env. vars, drivers, odbc file of a DSN /usr/local/easysoft/oracle/checksys When run everything looks ok and also it gives a positive result.
(Checks
sucessful and complete). I have config the /cachesys/cacheodbc.ini file with same user/pwd/server
as
the dsn_template of the easysoft, but i get a #5532 connection error.
I wonder if someone has any experiance with the easysoft driver ?
