Alex,
5k support was only introduced in Cach� 4.1, so I'm afraid you can't do what you want unless you create the database with 2k blocks (this is possible from within Cach� 5).
Alternatively, a Cach� utility know as %GBLOCKCOPY allows you to copy data from 2k databases to 8k, I am not sure if it would work the other way around.
