Marianne & Loren: I also am from Arizona ... Cave Creek to be exact. So that brings the total to 3 heat-seeking desert dwellers (I suspect there are more). I already purchased tickets to see Alison and Jim in Philadelphia on April 26. I am totally enamored with this band and did not want to miss the opportunity to experience art of the caliber that Jim and Alison Shaw and the other band members offer so I am cashing in frequent flyer miles to travel to see them. Some things in life (not many) are worth efforts like this. Whatever you decide, I hope you have the opportunity to see them as well.
