Copper opens steady to down on overseas cues MUMBAI: Copper futures opened steady with a downside bias on Monday tracking markets in London, an analyst said.
At 10.19 a.m., the benchmark November copper on the Multi Commodity Exchange of India (MCX) was down 0.22 percent at 315 rupees. Copper prices are expected to trade weak later in the day as investors continue to remain unsure on whether the U.S. bailout plan would be able to restore confidence to shaky markets, the analyst added.
