Ok, seems reasonable. It works like a charm now, I've been running it extensively for hours and the response is beautifully smooth on my Kindle Fire. Even playing simple harmonies or drum patterns on the on screen keyboard is sufficiently responsive and I now feel confident about using my app for an upcoming live session with my band! :) Thanks a lot for great support!
